How To: Wetsand your headlights - Discussion Thread

Is the light output better now that the headlights are sanded/polished? I did mine last Sunday and light output is brighter now. I won't say it's 100x better, but it's better than before. After sanding, I polished the headlights twice and they look good. One more coat, and they'll look almost...

    Tires

I used to have Pirelli Scorpion AT. They were awful tires even on dry pavement. Switched to Firestone Destination ATs and they have handled amazing under rain/wet payment. No snow where I live. But I've climbed a couple of dirt hills on 2wd easily. No annoying road noise. Almost 2 years with...

You said they changed a bit, but what did? I'm interested on this mod since I plan on going to some JYs the next weekend.

Great write up, man. I plan on doing this to my Ranger this weekend. Headlights are really foggy and yellow.

    My brothers falcon

Awesome car. Got more pics? A buddy had a 68 Falcon that had a straight 6 cylinder. Took that engine out, swapped a 302, but didn't finish restoring the car. Dude sold it to some guy who built cars for 1/4 mile racing.

    Hey! Crewcab owner here...

If the whole truck has a title, you can import it legally, with title and everything. You'd just have to register the vehicle in the US. Sounds like a plan.

    Hey! Crewcab owner here...

Maybe a smaller, not chromed roll bar would be enough. I read at some other forum that importing a crewcab Ranger is not impossible. I think you need a letter from Ford stating that the vehicle meets US environmental regulations, and paperwork and pay whatever is necessary, and you'll be able to...

    Hey! Crewcab owner here...

5.0s are common here. I see lots of old Mustangs, Explorers and trucks around here, so finding one should not be a problem... Diesel cars here are pretty rare. Trucks not so much. I would trade my truck for a 93 f250 7.3L diesel any time. I saw lots of those on the road where I used to live...

    Hey! Crewcab owner here...

That sounds like a good project. If Ford only gave us the option of the diesel engine here in Mexico, it would be awesome. But since the quality of the Diesel here sucks, we're stuck with the 2.3L Duratec as the only engine option. SouthAmerica gets the 2.8 Powerstroke option, as well as the...
