So ive been doing to many burnouts and to many peel outs and its time for new tires. the tires i have now are P235/75R15 108S. now my question is this, i want more/bigger tread. but i want to keep the stock rims. what would the code be if i want 3 inches of more rubber. any help is appreciated.

ford puts a limiter on most cars. this means it will not let you go over a certain speed. be it because the car will spin out, or the tires can not handle that speed. but either way, its a truck. trucks were made to haul loads, not do 100 down the highway. my truck only goes 91ish.

what you can do if your worried if the insides are clean (or as clean as you can get them), run about a qt of tranny fluid through your engine for 5mins. then drain it all and do the usual oil change. dont go longer then 5mins though. not good to run it. it has a lot of cleaning properties since...

just towed a nissan 240sx since it didnt run. the trailer was around 1600lbs. the car is around 2860lbs. pretty impressive i think. had an issue stopping but it got going pretty well for what it was.

maybe a bad bushing on the suspension. or a bent control arm. you never know till you inspect it.
