yup, like 4mm or 5/16" or something crazy small like that. I found that by using a right angle socket wrench with the small socket on the end where I can turn a crank on the handle instead of trying to ratchet the wrench in the tiny space makes life much easier.

I think it's a 3157 or 3457 bulb... basically the same bulbs, just different numbers. You'll have to remove the entire lens ass'y to get the to the bulb socket. Should be a nut or screw on the back side & some push clips that hold it in place.
