I think those should work just fine. They'll have good fill in light via the 5050 smd led's around the sides & should have good long throw light with the cree emitter.

I have a few guys using my old 68 led's in the front turn signals... they're about 55mm (close to 2") overall from bottom of the base to tip of the led array. Are your turns the ones in the same housing as the headlights? You should be good with most types of led's, but those cree style...

I've got a couple of the orange 4 1/2" grinders from Harbor Freight. Surprisingly they've held up for several years of moderate use. Seems like I found a coupon code & they were only about $15 each. One of these days when they die, I may look into a PC 4 1/2" grinder though.

Lookin good! I've been looking into some of those cree style led's for my new reverse led's... I wonder how hot they get?? Looks like they're only about 1/4" away from the clear reverse lens.

That's odd :( Mine are usually a little too tight... (that's what she said) :p I enlarged one a little too big once & I modded a piece of 1/2" copper pipe to take up the 1/16" slack & it worked like a charm.

Some of you already know about these, but I can't seem to find my specific thread on them, so here goes. My Explorer OHC LED panel mod... Basically you remove the old bulb holder assembly from your ohc and replace all that old stuff with my led panel. Only 3 wires from the old bulb...
