So my parking brake light comes on intermittently while driving, longer each time I drive. I have an 05 Edge, 2wd 4.0L V6. My brakes are still good & I'm guessing it's the switch but I honestly don't know.
I'm hoping someone has experience with this issue & can help guide me in the right direction before I get too deep into it. I have no idea where to start.
    Thank you so much!

    Check your brake fluid level

...but why would the brake fluid be low if the brakes are good?
Maybe Blake only checked the fronts and the rears are almost to the rivets?
...also, check for the loose wire you mentioned.
    That could do it too.

The intermittent light is due to the brake fluid being at just the right level to trigger the light on and off. The warning light for the brake fluid level being too low is the Parking Brake light coming on. I am just reporting what I read elsewhere. I am not a mechanic and have no personal knowledge of this as it's never happened to me.

If the brake fluid is that low, that means its sitting in the cylinders, which means the brakes are worn and need replacing....yet the OP says the brakes are fine.
    Thus my question.
