I have a 1993 2WD Ranger 4.0 with Automatic. I bought it about 6 months ago, and slowly fixing it up. My latest project was to fix the check engine light code 565 canister purge solenoid circuit fault.
It appears the previous owner has removed the Vapor Canister Purge Valve Solenoid, there are wire connectors just hanging and the vacuum tube is running straight to the canister.
And there is no line running from the canister back toward the fuel tank.

I am at a loss trying to figure out what else might be missing from this system, I can't find a parts list online of all the parts required to restore the system or photos or diagrams so I can get all the electrical and vacuum hooked up correctly.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. ebirr
