My wipers turn on with fluid at ad-hoc and run the full cycle - no rhyme or reason they just do. Sometimes once a day, sometimes more. Yes I had a leaky wind shield (fixed). Coincidentally my battery has been dying, Am I safe to think that it is my Ignition starter switch that I can replace? Don't really have any other issues except a very rough start of the engine in the morning. Fuel Pump has been changed and not a starter issue but thought all this might be tied to one thing (hopefully the switch, easy fix) Thoughts?

Wipers is probably the multi switch on the column. Battery you will have to test with a meter to see if there is draw when the truck is off Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
My 97 XLT did sort of the same thing only mine would stop in the middle of the cycle which sucks when it raining cats and dogs. I bought a new multi-function switch and after maybe a week it started doing the same thing. Don't remember who, maybe on this forum, but they told me to check the ground connections. They even told me where they all were. Problem was solved. Now I have a new multi- function switch that probably won't fit my 2007 Ranger.
Starting issue might be a simple loose batt connection/weak alternator. Change plug/wires recently? ——————————— 2004 ranger 4.0L edge
