I couldn't find this on the forums and instructions on Google are hard to come by. So I though I'd put this out there for people wanting to bypass their clutch switch. There are 6 pins on the switch, my ranger only uses two. I ohmed them out and this is what I got, with pedal pressed to the floor: 1-2 are connected, and 5-6 are connected. I believe 1-2 (the thicker wires) are for the starter relay, and 5-6 are for the shift module 4x4 low. 3-4 makes contact when pedal is up, but disconnects after what I think is barely a tap on the pedal, so it makes my believe this is for the cruise control (which my truck doesn't have), the very little travel before the switch changed would give the cruise control module time to cancel before the clutch is fully depressed so the engine doesn't rev to infinity. 20180220_074714.jpg

I believe you are correct on the pins 3&4. I remember something about that when I was researching to add speed control to my truck. Mine is an automatic, so it didn't apply but I remember seeing that in the diagrams.
