I have a 1994 Auto. 4.0 with 270K miles. Around 10 years ago I noticed if I would drive somewhere between 25+ miles and would recrank my truck within a 30-45 Min time frame I would very rough idle. After about a minute the engine/RPMs will gradually increase and all is fine and drives well. Now, what happens is I have the rough idle and my truck dies almost instantly until I recrank and give it a little gas and it eventually will even out and drive fine. I have replaced the oxygen sensors and cleaned the IAC, MAF, Throttle, intake, Air filter within the past 2 months. I replaced the fuel filter several years ago and it still did this after I replaced it. Anyone have any ideas what my issue may be? No check engine or codes as of yet. Thanks!

I tried cleaning my MAF for a rough idle and stalling. It did not help. I finally bought a new MAF.
All was well after that. I guess some times they just go bad. Cleaning doesn't help. See if a buddy
will let you swap MAF,s to trouble shoot.
