    I have not used this, but it probably works okay. I use a standard ELM327 (USB to OBDII) with my laptop and ForScan software (free). Does everything I need and then some. This is just a bluetooth connection to your laptop or ANDROID smartphone rather than the USB connection mine uses. $30 sounds about right... I gave $10 for my ELM327 on eBay.
