Alright, this one has me puzzled. normally i can figure out what things are by crawling under the truck, or by listening, and feeling what its doing. but this one has me baffled. at higher speeds, 60+ mph, when im on the throttle, light or heavy, i get a vibration in the pedal and the seat. which makes me think its in the rear. steering wheel doesn't vibrate. however the gas pedal has the same feeling, which makes me think its drive train related. its not a huge vibration, its subtle, yet you definitely know its not normal. i can be going 60 mph, accelerate and i get the vibration, the second i let off, its gone. so it doesn't seem to be speed related. checked the tires, all tight and no wobbles, checked the drive shaft, same thing. its all good. any ideas? im not overly mechanically inclined yet, but im working on it. just need ideas on what to look for. hope i explained it well enough.

sounds kinda wierd but i had a similar issue and one or both of my rear tires were out of balance :/ took out my u-joints it was so bad ha. IIRC it acted like yours and did it more when you were on the throttle (which kinda doesnt make sense logically) and u could really feel it in the seat. might be something to look into and its cheap
dont know if its helpful but heres my thread http://www.rangerforum.net/f29/driveline-problems-evap-problems-5510/index2/
will look into that, thanks. it is just so damn confusing, as its only when im on the gas. even the slightest bit haha. but the split second i let off the gas completely, it feels normal
yea i looked back into my thread and i described it similar, when id let out the clutch it would go away. yea id definitely look into it
may be getting new tires and wheels soon anyways, so i'll just leave it for now then and check em when i take them off to sell.
will do. also open to any other ideas if someone may have them. I checked for ice buildup on the wheels as well since its been warm during the day, and cold during the nights, but no ice. maybe there's some inside the brake drums?
I think if something was stuck inside it would happen all the time. Check the tires, see if you threw a wheel weight
will check that when i leave work, but even that you would think would be constant, and not only when on the throttle?
I have seen it happen to a few of my cars and its always between 65-70mph...but, I'm not sure on your issue, just throwing it out there hoping it would be a simple fix
ok, so i never did find out the issue. alignment is good, tiers were rotate twice since and nothing changed. however the past few days i have been hearing/feeling a clunk when going into reverse. or drive, or from reverse into drive, etc. so I took my gopro and stuck it underneath to see what happens. i'm thinking this could be the cause to the vibrations? when the truck is stopped, in N, P, D, or R, the driveshaft can not be moved or wiggled, so it doesnt seem loose. heres the video documenting whats happening. Any ideas as to what is causing this? oh, and a quick little exhaust clip included haha. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9tv2VKEwFgI[/ame]
Yeah. That's exactly what it is. Had some free time today so I crawled underneath. Seal is wore away. Probably original u joints. Truck has about 110,000 miles on it now. Bout the time they go is around 100,000 which is probably about when I got the vibrations I think.
Yeah. the u joints are a confusing bit. I had to replace mine on the diff and I had to pack the rest with grease cause my bad driveline tore it all up.
Very well last time I checked. Her soul is of course forfeit, but points-wise shes aceing it By the way I think you played my bro in a 2p today, he is AngryMob. How did he do?
