I'm wanting to remove the upper intake in my 2.5L, but am unsure how to go about removing this particular gas line, or at least the portion of it that goes through the intake, to get it out of the way, as shown here: http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/b...ps43dc3d1b.jpg
Here's a shot of the other end: http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/b...ps75de8816.jpg

I'm not even quite sure on what exactly this line hooks into there on the end showing in the second photo. Is this line full of gas or is it an air line, or what exactly? Thanks.

Hm I don't even remember seeing that line on my truck...I'll take a look at it tomorrow once it gets light out and maybe I can help you out better

Update on my inquiry: I asked around a little more and discovered it's a vapor line for the evap system. It isn't used to carry liquid fuel, it transports stored fuel vapors from the charcoal canister to the intake manifold so that fuel that evaporates in the tank can still be used. So it'll be no big deal at all disconnecting it to get it out of the way while I remove the upper intake. Thanks.
