i have a 87 2wd. im planning on doing air ride but i want it to be low until i get the bags. i know about the drop beams and the axle flips kits, but i was wondering 1: is there a cheao way to lower the front without buying the drop beams 2: when you bag the front, will i have to buy the drop beams anyway? and a friend told me i could put some springs from something like a ford escort in the front to lower it, is that legitimate? thanks in advance for all the help

Drop beams is the only way to drop it significantly and retain decent suspension geometry and alignment. Most that bag already have drop beams 'cause in the end you'll be lower. Same goes with the Chevy guys with drop spindles and then they bag. The end result is better. Just get the beams and bag later.
x2 on getting the beams vs rigging it. Its gonna be better on your tires and drivability if you just go with the beams.
is there any cheap ways to lower the front till i can save the money to get the beams? im currently unemployed and dont have alot of money to play with, but the money i do have is gonna go to my truck, i love a low truck, so if there is any way to lower it until i get the beams i wouldnt mind doing it, i had a 94 toyota pickup, had the front torsion bars all but out of it, and the rear was as low as i could go without doing a c notch
