    what's up clinton?

might wanna invest in a magnetic oil pan heater too to help warm it up, that's ungodly cold, lol. there's quite a few options for aftermarket block heaters.

I had the setup to install but the insurance wouldnt go for it and I'd end up burning it down, so I was selling the whole setup, the insulated pipes went yesterday now I have the stove left

    PFT.
Was -48f windchill here last night/this morning. Without the windchill it was -22f

Right now it's a little warmer. -14f with -35f windchill.

well now i feel lucky it's "only" 16* here lol.

that sucks. probibly easyier to install a couple of old electric basebord heaters you can turn on when you're out there, or a propane heater like i've got. how big is the stove?

and speaking of buying stuff, do you know anyone that might be looking for a small gas powered air compressor? i've got one sitting here i'm thinking i should sell.

    Lol. -41f right now.

We always have one week in January where we have super cold temps. Last year we hit -67F windchill. That was a brutal day.

I was thinking of an electric shop heater, still looking though. The wood stove heats 1600 sq ft so I may have roasted myself out of the garage! Shoot me a picture of the compressor, I may be interested.

    Sinister04Fx4 Everything is a project.

Turns out, the dude with the '77 is quite the douche... and I have come to the conclusion that it'd be more practical for me to just go with a different truck that WASN'T a 6 hour round trip.

    Found this '92.

is 150k to much on a new vehicle. most of the cheroekees that im looking at have around 150k on them. ive found some with around 100k on them. they stopped making cherokeees in o1 so i think it makes sense that thet have high miles. also the v6 inline 4.0 is know to go forever well past 200k.

all depends on the price. i've seen a few good deals on cherokees around here lately, higher miles but the price was really right.

They're usually around 3000 with that mileage. The ones with low mileage are around 4000 to 5000. Which is a little bit over my budget

gotta figure the biggest issues with higher- miles vehicles like a jeep would be transmission issues and rust, gotta go over 'em with a fine tooth comb. but if they are asking 3k you could probibly talk 'em down around 2500, and you'd be doing alright!

True I didn't think of transmission issues. Hopefully ill be able to get the jeep up on the lift at my school. If not i plan on going under there for a while.

definitly a good idea to bring a peice of cardboard to lay on and a floor jack when you go look at something. as for the trans as long as the fluid looks good it's usually ok, even better if the seller has proof it's been serviced. otherwise it's a good idea to have some extra $ set aside in case there is problems.

yea good idea with the cardboard. i plan on getting a jeep with around 150k and driving it till it completely dies. hopefully ill get a 100k out of it.
