There's a rubber grommet for the wires going down to the transfer case under the driver's seat. I ran mine from the bed, down along the framerail ziptied on the inside through the grommet into the cab.
I'm my single cab there is a rubber grommit on the passenger side on that hump that's in the back.. I ran it under the carpet from there..
Another believer! Haha. It's the easiest way, and since I have my rockers painted black you can't really notice them unless you're looking for em.
Hmmmm... I may do this now. lol Make it look a lot cleaner. How did you wrap it inside the engine compartment? Near any hot things?
Goes under the carpet. on the frame, it is ziptied to the driveside frame rail. Nowhere near anything hot.
You dont have to cut any holes...? Run the wire under the floor to the dash and bring it up to the CB...doesnt take a rocket scientist bro!
Too late now, but I removed my engine bay fuse box, drilled a 1" hole, installed a 3/4" hole grommet, and ran my wires through there. Back before I did this, I ran my accessory wiring through the steering grommet.....until one came in contact with the shaft...
does anyone know where to buy just the coax cable?i have looked and looked but no stores around here sells them without buying the the cb with it
you know i never thought of that and with the worlds largest truck stop 15 minutes from my house duh!!!!
