hey guys how yall doing? i havent been on here in a long time. i need some advice from you all. so my jeep is killing me on the gas mileage, a tank lasts me 300 miles. so im thinking about selling it and getting a gas efficient 4wd car or suv. anyone have ideas?
I sold my truck without ever installing these shackles or shackle hanger. I am selling these parts for 60+ shipping. Pm me here or post in this thread if interested.
i have one hanger. i got two of the same one and used it on the rear of the leaf spring because the one in my truck snapped in half. i also have two shackles that i never put in the truck.
they are for the leaf springs. they are stock i got them from advance auto about 6 months ago and have been sitting in my closet since. im looking for 60+shipping.
did the design of the shackles and shackle hangers change over the years. i have some left over from 97 ranger that i will be selling and want to make sure i give the right span of years that they will fit.
thats not that bad. eventually ill be ripping it out and bedlining the whole interior. once i figure out some kind of heat insulation to put on my trans tunnel.
The carpet in my jeep is pretty dirty. It looks like the previous owner spilt coffee all over the passenger side. Eventually I am going to pull out all my interior and get new seats and a center console bracket. What do you guys use to clean carpet while it is still installed in the vehicle?
i thought i would give you guys an update on my jeep. this thing has turned into quite the money pit. i had to replace the radiator on it and i started noticing signs of a head gasket going bad so that has to be done soon. today i replaced my a/c compressor because my other one locked up...
i dont have access to a shop anymore since i am done with high school. a cutoff wheel would be too risky. the smallest one i could find was too big. i have a 2000 jeep cherokee xj. i think i am just going to get a dremel brand because i want it to last. it would be hard to unbolt the doors...
yea i have a lowes about 15 minutes from me. do you have the blue hawk tool? how compact is it? the space that i have to cut in is pretty narrow. i like the price of it and i would get more accessories. ill have to go to lowes and home depot and look at them and see which one i like better.
