Had the day off so i decided to do a few beauty mods to fix up my truck, first off the bottom of the tailgate had some rust showing through the old bedliner so i sanded it down, primed it and re-bedlined it. I had the rustolium bedline on before so i figured i would use something different, so i picked up the duplicolor bedarmor in the rattle can and it seems way better. Layed on a lot thicker so hopefully it will last a little longer. I also re sprayed some lens tint on my front turns and my tail lights. Came out a little darker than i wanted, but im going to be ordering some led bulbs from bugman hopefully soon.

I also installed some hella 500ff's a couple weeks ago but i dont think i ever posted any pictures of them installed

I would throw a 4lb BFH through those tails if seen in person...

And it's looking like the same I'd do to that mustang in your avatar.

    HOLY GLAREGASM!!!!

I think that needs added to the HID FAIL thread over at HidPlanet...

Are your corners amber under the tint?
You might be a good candidate for the 102 or 120 white 3157's... I bet they'll shine through

Why would you want to smash out someones lights?

And my capri "mustang" has gto head light cover plates on and is rarely drivin at night. And when it is it takes me all of 30 seconds to pop the covers off.

And is glaring that bad because i took the picture on my cell phone, let me take some with my nikon d300 and there will hardly be any

Because I drive for a living and each and every time I see tinted tails, I want to throw a hammer at them. Can't see them worth a shoot during the day or at dusk. Brake lights are as bright(and sometimes dimmer) as normal taillights. And there's enough idiots out there who don't turn on their lights when it's pouring down rain in the middle of the day. Point is...you want to be seen....not barely seen.

*self proclaimed nightshade hater checking in*

Riiiight....I can manipulate my point & shoot (Olympus 1010) so there's hardly any glare too. See?

^Photo dated 2007. HID heads and fogs with a 2007 P&S brah! lol.

    More recent....also with a P&S. Nikon 8100 this time...

(yellow cloud under projector is atmospheric change within the housing. Typical with recent lamp painting and internal temp change + cool outside side)

(blue hue on driver side is thanks to camera angle being darn near the cut-off of that lamp)

It's a proven fact that while the amount of light is greatly increased, the amount of glare and light scatter is greatly increased as well. There's a reason you don't see any OEM's running HID's in reflectors anymore....GLARE. Cameras (including DSLR's) don't pick up all the human eye can see.....it can magnify or greatly reduce what the human eye sees in person.

Point is, arguing over the internet is dumb. I've spent years and years having plug-in HID's in reflector housings. But I've now seen the light. What brought me to see the light of PROPER HID application??? Driving a car while my truck was following...passing my truck going opposite directions.

    Bonus footage: NO LIGHT SCATTER!
