I don't think so. Yes it does hit the boot, but you need to look at opening in the body to the trans, where the stick goes. That opening is designed for a manual trans at normal height. Once raised that opening is much higher and doesn't give you the needed clearance to shift gears.

Alright thanks guys. I know the most reputable site is Summit, but is there any place to get one cheaper. Im gonna end up 2 day airing it so it's gonna be like 65. Hopin someones got one a little cheaper. Sorry for bein a noob. Just a little tight on cash, still in school and not makin too much cash, especially with gas prices

Stick with the Summit ones, if you find a used kit, or someone selling it cheap, there is a chance it may be missing pieces

I agree with Clinton 100%. With kits like this, buy new and go through summit or jegs. I would get the summit racing kit because it is basically the Performance Accessories one in different packaging.

Hey I wanna do a bl too. Havent tossed the coin yet though lol! But reason I'm posting rather then just reading your thread is that I'm not too far from you!
Well I guess that depends on your definition of "too far"

I live in DuBois PA, about 2 hours North East of Pittsburgh.. Where at in Pitt are you?

    This +2. lol.

Or if you've got the coin, just do the Hurst from the get go!!!! Absolutely no regrets with mine after I got the vent issues fingered out. Going on 5 years of being Hursted in mine and absolutely love it. Making an extension for one on a BL'd truck is very simple too!

why are you going with a bl did you do a SL yet. if not got with a SL alot better and if your just going for 2 to 3 in crank you bars on the front and hangers on the back hangers will cost 15 to 20 bucks front is free just your time to do the work. personally after putting on a 100 or so lifts for me friends and work i will never put a BL under my rigs again. to hard on the body. ive even seen them rip the floor out of a ranger extended cab fold bed floors up rapping around the BL spacer mount. and worse of all some kits use cheap so called grade eight bolts that are more like grade 3. seen guys come in the shop i worked at with broken bolts replaced them with good bolts and retorqued the rest at about 25 ft lbs they snapped. so be carefull think about what you plan to use the truck for. if you plan to use the bed as most pa guys do( i lived in uniontown area for over 10 years....lol) than you might want to avoid a BL
