Center Console Removal?

    Hello everyone! I am doin some custom interior work on my 2011 Ranger and was wonderin if the center console is removeable? If not, is the lid? Thanks guys!

    Yup you can take them out. You will have to take the armrest off first, then unscrew the console from the mount brackets, then remove the mount brackets. Its pretty easy and very doable to a novice, just look for the screws, take them out, but tape them to each section where they came from so ya dont forget!

    Can you post pics of the console? Also will you sell it to me if you are getting rid of it?

    I looked all around the stupid thing and I dont see any screws. Where would they be at?

    Took a little longer than I expected but here it is:

    OHH that console! I was thinking shorty console. Ok, the side bracket (plastic) pull it up and out. Then using a torx bit, remove the 2 screws on the sides of the brackets, hold the console while you turn them out.
     
  11. I didn't know they put one like that in the newer rangers... lol Can't wait to see what it looks like all done up man

    Cool, if the plastic parts wont lift up, they snap together in 2 pieces so use a screw driver to pop them apart
