This Simple Mod is to allow fog lamps to run with high beams on or off. I am sure there may have been earlier posts, but thought I would share anyways. I know this works on 99 Rangers and probably any other Ranger with a "Fog Lamp Isolation Relay". 10 cents worth of parts and you are good to go. Just Remove the isolation relay, add the jumper, and fog lights will come on when the Parking Lamps are on and the Fog Light switch is depressed. Save the relay because it is the same as the actual fog lamp relay.

Would it work to just bend the one prong? Would there be any bad effects to doing that? I sorta shy away from wiring things

  9. I wanna do this, but my lights usually end up shattering because of the cracked lenses.

How would it cause your lights to shatter?

I just bent the prong on the fuse

  11. I didn't explain myself lol Whoops... My lenses are cracked, so whenever it rains the bulbs end up shattering, and as well when I go through the woods. I just stopped putting bulbs in after the 15th set.

I still havent seen how to do this with the 2006+ Rangers! I wanna know!!!

  21. Alright, revival of an old thread here. I really want to do this now since I don't have any off road lights, and my high beams are horrible. I'm a bit confused on the jumping part of it. What would I need to do? Just tie a wire to one prong and tie it up to another?
