I'm getting ready to get some new tires and rims too, although the rims are just gonna be some 15" at I find on craigslist or something since I cant afford much else at the moment.
I've been looking at the wrangler silent armors and like them a lot. I was wondering what tires other people have or suggest? I only have stock suspension at the moment so thats a factor too. I'm not planning on much off-road stuff in the near future so I'd rather get a quieter tire than something for mud.

    What do you guys think?

I have the silent armors in 33's and they suck in the snow and even when it rains. My winter tires are Firestone Destination A/T's and they go through anything. I really dont recommend the Silent Armors, I drove them in the snow last year and the tires pack with snow and you get no traction at all. I swear by the Destinations though

Hmm so the BFG's are looking really good especially as im seeing everywhere that people are running them forever. What sort of road noise do you get off these?

    Thanks for all the replies!

yeah I'm not too bothered as long as it's not really loud or anything. Does anyone know what the biggest tire you can put on the stock suspension is before they rub?

31s should be perfect. You could squeeze 32s but I wouldn't if you plan on flexin at all.

It's a 2wd. I may have found some bfg at 30" that I can get for $350 with a new set of rims! He says they've only got 1000 miles on or so I'm hoping that works out.

Yeah for sure I will if I can. It definitely beats buying a new set and them hunting around for a set that I can fit on them.
